Description: The adventure starts in Chihuahua City, traveling to Urique, and old mining town where we'll start our trek and it's at 1639 ft above sea level and a tropical weather all year. From here we'll follow an old trail known as the “Camino Real” (Royal trail) that was used in the 1600's to transport gold and silver from the mines. The trail reaches a maximum altitude of 7213 ft reaching the cool weather of the high mountain and then back down to the town of Cerro Colorado and finishing the trail in the Famous mining town of Batopilas. During the trek we'll camp in and near raramuri Indian communities for a cultural experience.
